Dragonettes Colonel Notes I
just wanted to say that I am so grateful & proud to be elected Colonel of
the Dragonettes for the 07-08 year and I have to say that this is definatly a
dream come true for me. I am already so excited
about this year’s team for all of the hard work the team did this summer at all
of the camps! I know running everyday
was not fun in all the heat, but I can’t wait to see all the hard work pay off
for all of us this year! I think the
Dragonettes have a lot to look forward to this year- From football games, to contest season,
Dragonette parties, spring show, big sis – little sis friendships, gifts and
not to mention our positive circle every game day! There are so many great girls that are on
Dragonettes, and I can’t wait to see us
really come together as a team! Dragonettes
are an amazing group of girls and I thank God every day that I am a part of
this group! Being a part of a team with 60
girls, well, there are no words to describe it!
Dragonettes gives you 60 instant friends, and I love every second of
it! Ms. Jones-Harris and Ms. D. are
awesome directors and make being a Dragonette ALL worth it! A big thank you goes to them for helping the
D-Nettes make memories that we can carry with us forever! To the D-Nettes~ Officers~ there are no words to describe
ya’ll! You girls are amazing strong
leaders and I definitely cannot do my job with out all of you! You do so much behind the scenes, and that’s
what makes ya’ll so incredible! You make
the team ROCK! I really mean that! Seniors~
I love you guys! Ya’ll are such a
great group of girls, even though there is only a small group of you J. I know I am going to miss ya’ll so much next
year so I want
to make our last year together a fun one and a year to remember! Juniors~
Yeah ’09!!! You all are my best
friends and thank you for always being there for me personally and for your
support as Colonel. I want you to know
that ya’ll are doing a wonderful job so far and I love EVERY single one of
you. Sophomores~
I just want to
say that ya’ll are doing an amazing job so far!
I know it’s hard to learn all of the rules and traditions as a rookie on
the team, but hang in there- if it were easy, everyone would do it! The fun has
just begun I promise! I love ya’ll!
